Soumada was our very first creation at the beginning of this wonderful journey, filled with flavors and aromas, as we strive to share with you the exquisite traditional and new recipes from this unique volcanic land. Known as the “drink of joy,” it is traditionally offered at celebrations, weddings, baptisms, and welcoming events.

Our production facility exclusively creates this special beverage from bitter almonds, following the original, authentic recipe without any preservatives or flavor enhancers. Bitter almonds contain the rare vitamin B17, known for its anticancer properties. They are also a tonic for the heart and have been recognized as an aphrodisiac since ancient times.

Soumada can be used to prepare delicious cocktails, slushies, milkshakes, or added to coffee, milk, or hot chocolate. You can also use it in cakes, creams, cookies, chocolates, truffles, ice cream, and even in cooking.

It is typically consumed diluted with 1 part Soumada to 4-5 parts water, or as diluted or concentrated as you prefer. You can enjoy it hot or cold.
